If your idea of weekend fun is leading an armor battalion as it crushes the enemy, then click on this link for Steel Panthers: World At War. It is some great freeware from Matrix Games, and a remake for Windows of a classic game from around 10 years ago, Steel Panthers III. Despite the somewhat dated graphics and sound, the gameplay is accurate and intense, and there's nothing quite like calling in artillery on some unexposed infantry. Be sure to download and install the 8.20 version first, and then download and install the patches in order. Enjoy!
