Blog Revision, Phase I

Phase I of my spring cleaning is complete. There are, gentle reader, many links and features that I simply deleted. Right now I'm thinking minimalism is in order.

The graphic is from Signal magazine and shows a gun emplacement on Hitler's vaunted, but ultimately useless, Atlantic Wall, the front line of his Festung Europa.

My original naming of Festung Europa, incidentally, has more to do with the standardized Stingray Regime nomenclature for fortified positions (see Fortress Immacula -> Festung Europa), than with any historical references.
