Solstice's Embrace: Ode to Sunna, the Radiant Goddess

In ancient tales of Germanic lore,

When sunlit skies held secrets galore,

A saga unfolds of days long past,

Where Sunna, the goddess, held her vast.

On this summer solstice, hear the rhyme,

Of Sunna's radiance, so sublime,

A celestial dancer, fiery and bright,

Illuminating the world with golden light.

With amber tresses, like molten flame,

Sunna emerges, the sky to reclaim,

Her chariot ablaze with burning rays,

Guiding the sun through solstice days.

As she ascends, the heavens aflame,

Casting her glow, a celestial acclaim,

Her warmth caresses the earth's embrace,

Unveiling nature's blossoms, in vibrant grace.

Through ancient groves and fields of gold,

Her touch transforms, stories unfold,

She gifts the land with bountiful yield,

Enchanting landscapes, where life's revealed.

In solstice's zenith, her power supreme,

A radiant queen in a cosmic dream,

The world bathed in her resplendent glow,

Her presence, a blessing bestowed below.

But with the solstice, a subtle decree,

Sunna whispers of her cyclical decree,

For as she ascends to her highest peak,

The waning days begin, in shadows they seek.

The eternal dance of light and shade,

A reminder that balance must be obeyed,

For Sunna's brilliance will gently wane,

As darkness seeks its turn to reign.

Yet fear not, for her return is sure,

A cycle unbroken, ever pure,

In the ebb and flow of cosmic sway,

Sunna shall rise again, another day.

So on this solstice, with hearts alight,

Embrace the sun's gift, so pure and bright,

In Sunna's presence, let us rejoice,

As nature echoes her timeless voice.

For in her radiance, we find our way,

Guided by Sunna's everlasting sway,

And as the solstice marks this sacred rite,

We honor the sun, forever in our sight.
