Thought for the Weekend

Most people in our culture get entertainment and experience spoon-fed to them through established, programmed channels. There's no creativity and very little participation in most Americans' entertainment. TV, you sit and watch. Sports are giant orchestrated games in which the people involved are not participating. We have developed a society of mindless consumers who pretty much live for being a mindless consumer.
