Thought for the Week
Gentle Reader,
I apologize for not writing more to this blog as you perhaps may be accustomed. Gloom has overtaken me in these dark days before the solstice, so I guess you'll just have to be patient. On a more positive front, the traditions of the season are present on the streets and alleyways of our fair city; warmth and joviality are there for the taking. So I'll have a steaming cup of Glühwein and treat you to this thought for the week, which comes from our old friend, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche:
A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.
And if you have an hour and a half to kill, check out this interesting documentary on Nietzsche from the BBC.
