Another Video Thought for the Week
This week's video thought is a beloved classic for stoners and physicists alike: the 1977 film, Powers of Ten, by Charles and Ray Eames. I remember first watching this film in high school on a 16mm projector. "Class, settle down!" The reaction to the film could be summarized as "Whoa, dude."
Incidentally, Charles Eames was perhaps responsible for the style of the modernist chairs upon which we were sitting in Dave Best's biology class in 1982. They weren't Eames chairs by any means, which would have been beyond the Exira Community Schools' budget, but they were surely inspired by them.
