Just when you thought it couldn't get any weirder...

Sometimes while perusing internet news, a headline grabs you and forces you to click on it. Often the result is a letdown, but in this case, I was pleasantly surprised. Here is a link to something that is pretty darn crazy. Kids, don't try this at home!

Perhaps fellow Bend resident and gentle architect, Monsieur John Jordan, would be so kind as to provide us with his local comments on the feat.

My favorite quote from the article: "When you're a little kid and you're holding a helium balloon, it has to cross your mind."

THE MAN WITH THE BALLOON CHAIR IS AN EXAMPLE OF PERSON WHO HASN'T LOST HIS CHILDHOOD CAPACITY FOR DREAMING AND CREATIVITY. OBVIOUSLY HE WAS TAKING A BIG CHANCE WITH HIS LIFE, HOWEVER, HE THOROUGHLY THOUGHT THROUGH AND PLANNED FOR THE CONSEQUENCES. THIS MAN IS A FREE THINKER AND A DAREDEVIL. IF IT WASN'T FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS, WE WOULD ALL BELIEVE THAT THE WORLD WAS STILL FLAT.
