Ladies and gentlemen, gentle readers all, I would like to take this time to direct you to a story in the Associated Press today regarding an increase in the number of women who chose to avoid recurrences of breast cancer by undergoing a double mastectomy. And, lo and behold, the featured woman is one brave lady, an Iowa State alumna, whom I had the pleasure of dating way back when: Trisha Stotler, who ended up married to some other dude by the name of Meyer. The article features a nice picture of Trisha and her son, Max.

Trisha, who is a certified hypnotherapist, had mentioned in an email to our editorial staff that she is getting a custom-made, replacement bosom shortly and writes that she may be submitting an article to our humble blog in the near future. We are looking forward to it!
