Happy Birthday, Yggdrasil!
Gentle reader,
We here at Yggdrasil would like to thank you for your support of this blog over the past year. And to show our appreciation, we're going to post links to some great downloads over the next 9 days.
Why nine? Nine, a sacred number in many religions including the Old Norse, represents the multiverse of nine worlds in which we denizens of Midgard are just a small part. You may need some shamanic inspiration to get to the worlds of Utgard (out gard, outside the garden, as opposed to within it), but it can be done.
To start things off, here is a link to one of my favorite books, chock full (I've always wanted to use that term!) of tried and true rural wisdom which may prove quite useful in the current economic climate. Enjoy!
