A little bit about Gonar...

Gonar, Gatekeeper Of The Outer Galaxy
by the Mystic Master

Just in case you folks were wondering a bit about Gonar, here is a picture of the Gatekeeper Of The Outer Galaxy in full battle armor.

Gonar joined forces with the Stingray Regime during the time of Fortress Immacula. He and Stuckness, The Dark Evil Overlord of the Dark Evil Side of the Evil Universe, resided together in a small outpost within the Suburban Labyrinth not far from the Fortress. Gonar is a threshold guardian, in the sense that those who decide to journey into the outer reaches of the galaxy must pass his way. This applies not only to the physical journey but to a metaphysical, shamanic journey as well. It is extremely difficult to gain passage from him; Gonar has been known to quiz potential travelers with three riddles, with one wrong answer resulting in expulsion and likely vaporization of the unlucky participant. Of course, one could engage in direct combat with Gonar to gain passage, but believe me, you have a better chance with the riddles. Using a focus akin to the Zen masters of Japan, his preferred method of combat involves darts, either poisonous or explosive.

Gonar worked closely with Technomaster in the development of Mr. Hologram technology, picking up on the work done by Defensemaster during his exile in the outlands. His vehicle is The Solar Patroller, a hyperspace-capable, combat-ready, research and transport vessel.

Following the fall of Fortress Immacula and the Xarlon breach of the Power Grid, Gonar fled and went underground as did the rest of the regime. After a time on the eastern rim, where he further developed his psychic and meditative abilities in mental correspondence with the Mystic Master, he took a bride, Ivy, who is half-plant, half-human. Together, they established a covert base of operations in Aquaburg, The City of the Waters.
